Q: Do you supply yard waste containers?
A: No, but you can get compostable bags at your local hardware or home and garden store. You can also grasscycle. Nearly 20% of residential waste is made up of yard clippings (www.recyclingstar.org). That's a lot of unnecessary waste. Instead of spending time and effort collecting and bagging clippings, we recommend using a mulching mower, a process that sends the clippings back down to the soil, reducing your yard waste while simultaneously fertilizing your lawn. A win win for you and the environment.
Q: What are your office hours?
A: Our office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Q: What items are considered to be Heavy Trash?
A: Heavy trash, or bulk items, are items that won't fit into a trash can or bag, such as a mattress, dryer, oven, or other small appliane. Larger items such as refrigerators, large screen TVs, or old spaceships will require a special pickup that must be arranged through the office. Refrigerators or any other appliance containing refrigerant, must display tag from qualified technician certifying tha the refrigerant has been removed from the system.
