Old washing machines don't fit in the garbage can too well and they tend to rip even the most advanced plastic bags. That's why we've got a special designated bulk item pickup day to haul big items away for you. When placed near the garbage at the edge of the driveway on your collection day, items will be picked up at no charge. Limited to one item per week per home. Excluded Items:
Acids, car batteries, car parts, car tires, chemicals, construction trash (to include concrete, large quantities or rolls of carpeting, fencing, construction materials and debris), dirt, garbage door openers, hazardous or toxic or radioactive waste, large pieces of glass (must be broken and placed in cardboard box and weigh less than 40 pounds), gravel, human or animal fecal waste (if not contained in plastic bag or closed boxes so Contractor employees do not come into direct contact with fecal material while loading into truck), paint, petroleum products or filters, rocks, and sand. Homeowner may call Customer Serivce at 713-526-1536 and arrange for excluded items to be picked up separately at a negotiated price.
